N47 egr blanking
 

Hello

i I have had the egr and dpf deleted coded today. The coder said I may now need to blank off the egr valve as it white smokes on start up?

I thought as it stands or with the plug disconnected the egr remains closed?

is there any reason to blank it off or just leave it disconnected as it can only open when connected up surely?

I've always seen it blocked off if deleted.

but just to test the smoking is because of the egr can I just disconnect the plug which just leaves the egr fully closed?
