I have seen pictures of the rear bumper on an E60 with an oval cut out at the lowerst point in the center of the rear bumper. The oval hole looks to be about 18" wide by about 4" high. The cutout hole is backed/covered by the black screen making it look like the M5 Aero kit screening in the front bumper.
Can anyone tell me how to purchase this rear lower bumper piece? Thanks.

its called a rear diffuser. they're several different styles available. its for the m-tech and M5 rear bumpers so you're looking into changing your rear bumper cover.
