Reg 18th Sept 2003 (uk launch date)
xenons, wood, mirror pack, 17" rims, Hi Fi spkr,

Just got back from my dealer to have a look at my car which I'm collecting on Monday. I thought it was a week 39 car but turns out to be a week 37 and it does play MP3 on the cd drive.

BMWNA also says that they revised their initial statement that only Week 40 and newer US vehicles with Pro Nav would be able to play MP3 CDs, and that actually all vehicles from Week 36 on can. Still waiting for confirmation on US Week 36-39 vehicles.

does this mean that week 36 onwards have a different ccc or is it just a later cip on week 36 onwards

looking at your pictures you don't have nav pro either and if your radio is business rather than pro then I don't think you will be able to get mp3 playback on your system.
