So I picked up used 08 535 in monaco blue last July from the dealership that just came off a lease. The paint was in fairly decent condition, but the hood, truck, and top of the cabin had a slight haze to it. Yes, I admit my OCD kicked in, so for the past few months I have been working on bringing it back to it's glory. So almost every weekend (when the weather permits), I have used a clay bar, paint cleanser, paint compound (twice), 4 coats of wax, two coats of top coat, one more coat of wax, and a lot of sweat all done by hand. I also added a black grill, painted the silver piece on the lower grill, and replaced the 535 emblems in black.

Here's the end result....

My paint is in good shape - but I want to learn how to do what you did, sounds like a very gratifying process. Although I have nothing to compare it to; it looks great!

Thanks bro! Here's shot of when I brought it home. The paint wasn't in bad shape, just needed a little tlc to remove the haze and add some depth to the paint. I'd be more than happy to show you what I used, but that it's something that takes several steps, just let me know.
