Just finished washing my car, took it out for a spin to blow the water out and clean the brake discs and whilst cornering I got a 'bing'.
Active Steering Fault. Continue driving but wheel may be offset. Steer carefully! blah. blah. Annoying, but I look forward to getting the 'updated' AS and software. I believe the AS hardware has changed since my early car and I want CIP 19 too! They can also fix my stuck cupholder! (Haven't they been updated too!?) Oh yeah, I'll have an M5 as a loaner! |

Hopefully your active steering stays, well active, but when the situation happened to me, I thought it was fun to experience the difference.
Meanwhile, I think I'm still on SW version 12 or 13.... |

Meanwhile, I think I'm still on SW version 12 or 13.... I'm expecting it to come back myself... I had similar problems with my adaptive headlights - the green LED started to flash and the headlights stop turning... Then they just started, then stopped, then started........... New headlight was required eventually. We shall see! |
