I have been hearing noise when I turn into a parking spot once in a while which sounds like a loud deep squeek noise. Anyhow, took it to the dealer and they tell me that they could not find anything but my front tires are cupped.

Any idea what causes that? They tell me it is not covered under warranty, the tires have about 8000 miles on them and do have a lot of thread left on them.

You need to keep tabs of your tire pressure.

I do. Do you think tire pressure or alignment is more of a cause for this?

If I understand this right...

My guess would be the power steering making the squeaky sound, not the tires?

Modern radial tires don't usually react to tire pressure unless the pressures are way wrong.

If the tires are worn out from either side, then the alignment is wrong.

What wheels and tires do you have?

If your tires are cupped it is a tire pressure problem not alignment.

Inaccurate tire/rim balancing can cause this as well. Cupped tires develop a resonant sound that alternately hums between loud and soft when traveling at speeds >25 mph. I'd check all the above ... alignment, pressures, and balancing.
