...that was the short version -- the original version was more like a f***ing encyclopedia!

I guess that's what comes of spending so much time here and reading so much about our cars... hmm, I might bring out a hard-back version of this post later in the year... or maybe even a film about the life of my previous 520d... or may not!

congrats on your new cars... looks amazing.... thats a very good spec car, i cant say you chose a single option i wouldnt (other than color)..
i like the 128s alot, sometimes even more than the 166s...

BMW changed the headrests sometime after the LCI -- the following thread might shed more light on things...

All the seats have an improved, "active" whiplash protection now. Previously, only the comfort seats did.

With all the explosive devices on cars these days, including, front, side, and side curtain airbags, seatbelt tensioners, and explosive headrest protection, you'd think you'd need the bomb squad to come work on your automobile.
