My other car is an Alfa Romeo 156 in which i've did a lot of mods.
However, the beamer is like 10 times more expensive, so i'll start small and build from there
I'll look if i can go that far, i have no clue how much work that'll be.
it's not about the costs
with seats it's more complicated
it seems that you can't do that in BMW service because they can't
or they don't want to resolve problems with electronic steering of the seets
you need comfort seats special for your car - seats from same production (2004 year)
so it's clear that they don't get such seats in BMW service
of course you can try to buy used or on www.akto.nl but you need to have big luck to get correct seats for you
even when you will get them - you need to mount them ...
the worst thing is that I have beige leather with ventilation - try to find 2004 year comfort seats for me - good luck
it sucks coz standard seats are so bad ...

I wish we could get 5ers with the diesel option here in Canada , in my native Poland they're available. Diesel would be my first option; very efficient with monster torque. Diesel fuel quality in N. America just isn't good enough for the high tech euro engines...
Greg
Im sure you need to try 535d
after that you will never look again at V8 ...

I know it's not about the costs, that's not what i meant. I meant that because the Alfa was cheaper, it was "easier" for me to mod it, not thinking about ruining the car.
I'll see what i can find on the seats, but like i said: i'll start small

Here's the thing. You can't have low profile tires and have a stock suspension, it just does not look right.

Here is your car, lowered, with OEM 166 rims. Look at the diff:

Your #166s are definitely "deeper" than mine. However, on the inside of the rims it also specifies "BMW", so i don't know.
The dealer assures me they are genuine BMW.
I know I'd be pissed if I got sold some replica 166's that the dealership claimed were authentic...real angry! And for sure those are not OEM.

yeah, but tell him what you think of your ride quality right now

but agreed, a drop would help, especially since you have the m-tech kit...
