Just so awesome. And knowing it's carbon black is just that much more awesome. I said it yesterday and I'll say it again, Shame on BMW for not offerring options like that in the states. At least offer it. Beautiful car. Definitely the nicest all stock 5 on this board. A little tint and you're good to go.

Wow, that is really cool. Beautiful car. And the dash trim is really striking! Much more macho and less frilly than the wood trims.
Looks great and thanks for posting pics!
Go out and drive it!

Thanks
I am very fond of the servotronic that is a standard feature on march O9 week cars. For parking its a blessing with big wheels. You can park with 1 vinger.

New here...since yesterday actually. But I have been a guest for about a month or so. This is without any doubt the best BMW forum I've come across.
The pictures of yr 525D really look fantastic!
I've ordered almost the same car. Same model, same color, also the M-Sport package. Should arrive the week of April 25th.
Main difference with yours are the wheels. I swapped the standard Styling 135 ones for Styling 128 (19" - 245/35 R19Y - 275/30 R19Y). Easy to clean, but main reason to go for the 128's was that this was the rim that made the wheel really look big and this E60 needs big wheels.
I took me a long time to decide on the interior, but finally I went for the amethyst leather. Except for the seats and part of the door interior (2 tone), everything else is black. Like you, I also have the Alu Cube Interior trim, because I don't like wood in such a sportive interior.
Are you planning to have it tuned? I used to have a 530D, but there's no reason to pay the extra for that car anymore since you can get 220HP and 520 Nm Torque out of a 525D as well now (for an extra 800 EUR).
Hope to be posting such nice pictures as well in 5-6 weeks or so.
Good luck with yr car!
