hi guys, i have a 2004 530i and my headlight xenon just burned out yesterday when i called my local bmw dealer they told me that its going to cost me about 500 to fix the light, is it just a burned bulb ? i have the adaptive headlights, how much is the bulb ? what kind of bulb do i have to get ? is it the D2-S??? can i just get the 10k hid light for my front headlights? thank u

dude, ask JOHN aka brabus om this forum...he will hook u up...or email this guy for light parts FJershe@penskeautomotive.com and get 25% off retail price

This is exactly why I am resisting Xenon. As long as my eyesight is reasonably good, I don't want no stinking $500 light bulb.

if you change the bulb yourself, you can do it for less than 100, and usually the xenons last a long time, unless they are turned on and off frequently.
and the xenons just look way cooler than halogens.

oh, and if you look at the projector in your headlight, around the perimeter, it will say if its a d2s or d1s.
