All the bmw models are made by kyosho. all dealers should stock some but you can get them to order from germany but takes 6-8 weeks... :nono:

the dealer edition ones have the exact same paint colour and treatment as the original 1:1 cars and they use original bmw supplied paint.

Ah ya... I have a few from the dealer too but they cost 2 arms and a leg LOL, I was curious if you found a new source. I bought a MINI made by autoart and that was actually quite nice. A tad cheaper than the dealer but same quality, at least to me.

in australia the dealer edition is a lot cheaper than the hobby shop version. hobby shops charge an extra 30 to 50 more...

that's an excellent collection! Looks fantastic. I want to collect some too but the gf is complaining i am wasting too much money on toys! Yes I still shop at Toys R Us and when I am alone on the road and pass by one, I usually go in! But the selection of toys isnt what it used to be anymore. No more car models

wheres is the best place to get or order them models now?

sam.s Apr 20, 2010 02:09 AM

you can get them in good quality hobby shops. your local bmw dealers will stock them as well, just speak to parts and accessories. if you get them from a dealer it comes in a special silver box and the cars have german number plate on it. the dealers will have a book on it and you can pick and order. http://www.bmw-online.com/ProductList.aspx?c=180

they always get new models every month or so.

They're also available on Amazon, Ebay, and some other sites. Here's a Kyosho 1/18 model M5 on Amazon:
Here's the BMW section of another website: http://www.diecastmodelswholesale.co...ast/Categories
