Joe, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. When I bought my E60, the dealer told me that the alarm will stop the casual theft, but not the real pros. The pros have scannrs that can read your car alarm code and neutralize that way. The dealer said that lo-jack is more effective to track down the car, after the fact. I wonder why he didn't mention BMW Assist. Anyway, best of luck, but remember, a car is not a person and can be easily replaced. Let us know what you end up getting as replacement and figt your insurance for reimbursement of all the mods. If you've kep all your recepts, you shouldn't have problems with those.

Best regards,

Joe

Sorry to hear that Joe, I have helped you through your modding and your car has grown on me also. Best of luck in getting it back.
