I haven't seen any update but wish you the best on settling up with your insurance company if it's not located. Unfortunately cars like yours can be on a boat out of the country in 8 hours. Or worse, they locate your car in NJ, NJ, PA, DE, parted out by some chop shop.
Sometimes it doesn't pay to spend the time and money bringing your car to what you want it to be ... because someone else will take it away from you in a heartbeat! We all understand that you are feeling
