My beautiful 2004, 525i was just christen by a baseball (hit foul) during my son's game yesterday. I was wondering if anyone within the New York, Long Island area have anyone they could recommend. I have heard of these paint less dent removal places. Just wondering anyone's experience with this method pro's and con's. Thanks in advance.

How big is the dent? Any paint damage?

I live in Texas so I can't recommend any place near you obviously. But to ease your worries, I had a dent put on my car while parked at work a few weeks after i bought it. I brought it to a paintless dent removal place and they did wonders. Even after the technician pointed out the area of damage I still couldn't tell where it was at. Not every dent can be fixed, mainly the "creased" ones the guy told me. But if yours was hit with a baseball I would imagine its a fixable dent. Good luck with it.

Post a pic and i'll be able to give you an idea if it is possible.

Sorry to hear about that. So long as there is no paint damage, and the dent is fairly "uniform" (if that makes sense), then PDR is the best way to go. Depending on the size and location on the car (i.e., how much needs to be removed to get behind the damaged area), the cost will probably range from $50-$150, at least in my experience. I'm sure one of the NYC area guys will chime in with a name. G/L.

The dent is not that big. It's about the size of half a dollar. There is no paint damage.

I'm not sure of the exact measurement in mm, but, yeah, about the same size.
