Welcome aboard - great choice for your first BMW.

I like the Zaino products for detailing the car (interior and exterior).

You can order the red reflectors at your dealership ... they are inexpensive ($15 each?).

Have fun driving the 530 and good luck with your modification disease - we are all afflicted.

Zaino is great stuff, but if you don't want to do it by hand and prefer using a machine, then read this :http://www.properautocare.com/aregepadi.html

German paint is different.

I go with Menzerna which is a german product. I have used zaino in the past and loved it, but its a lot of work.

I use this stuff and its just great!

Enjoy!

All E60's are painted at the same factory, Dilgolfing, so I suppose the paint is the same also.

See this. Then choose Production of the 5-series or go direct to the Dilgolfing plant.

Congrats nelson29
Please post some pics asap.

German paint is different than the paint used in different countries. I did not insinuate that they paint them differently FOR different countries.

Thus using a product formulated for a differnt type of paint MIGHT be a better approach. Maybe not.

So perhaps Zaino is forumlated to adhere to some paints better than others?

Thus,

German paints are different.

welcome and congrats.

well for my leather i just use armor all wipes.. works good enough for me and it does clean. for wax there are many different opinions.. i use eagle one nanowax which does the job for me.. shines it up just as good other brands. ive also used meguires (sp?). for tires i use black magic which works great.
