I have never posted my European Delivery story, but it's a rainy day in.
The bike came sliding into the side of my? 545i that I had just taken delivery of 3 hours earlier. The biker rolled directly in front of me in my lane at the same time leaving me only a split second to react. My choice was to either run directly over him, or take the car into the rocks of the mountainside. Needless to say, we were able to avoid him and slam the car into the rocks.
The biker spoke English and felt terrible about causing the accident and thanked me "for giving him his life" as he put it.

Thanks God and you all went good.
You should be proud of your instant decision, but I think that it was a "natural" decision: human life has no price at all.
I wish you all the fun you can have from driving your 545i.

Some story!! I have to say good reaction from your side material things are just that, but a human life...well...must have been quite an emotion for your wife and you for someone to express to you such an gratitude.
Glad it worked out for you with the 545i in the end!!! Enjoy, and good tip over the motorbike riders

This is unbelievable, I thought I could only see this kind of story in a movie. You can always get a new BMW, but you will never get a life back. Netjazz, I am very proud to be a budding BMW owners as yourself. As I am in Asia, I don't see the photo on page 14. Can someone post it on the forum please.
