Hello, im new in here and wanted to say hi for everyone on board.
Anyway I have a problem with cd player. Few days when it like was like -10°c, my cd player stopped playing. Few times it opened the cd thing on the screen but did not start playing any track. Ive been kept my car now on garage which is warm but it wont play the cd.. I can hear when it rounds the cd inside but nothing happens.. Radio works just fine.
Anyone knows what might be the problem ? Cd player is broken or something else ?
Any help would really appreciated..

Have you tried different CDs? Maybe your CD is scratched?
Are these MP3 CDs? Sometimes my player won't read MP3 CDs. It could be that the speed it was burnt on or the quality of the CD.

Depending on the temperature, some Cds won't play because they will get condensate on the surface. A stone cold Cd in the slot may glaze over with water vapour as the car heats up. I have had trouble with CD players in a variety of cars so just forget the CD player in the winter time.

I had my car on warm garage from saturday to monday. I bought dvd cleaner dics and still no any effect on the player.. New cd drive costs about 600euros or so..(800$) Maybe the disk drive's ''pick up'' or what ever you call the thing what read's the cd, the eye is broken or so..

It is easy to fix, just take it out, remove the player from the external casing, and increase/decrease laser gain as necessary. I do this to mine every so often.

Yep you can see it just next to the moving laser head, it is like a small switch which you can move to increase or decrease. This happens over time due to wear and tear and it will require multiple setting modifications until you find the optimal setting. My suggestion is to try playing a CD in it while it is still dismantled and only assemble it when the CD works. Also try moving the idrive know fast while playing a Cd and take note of the time it takes to switch between tracks. You know that the gain is correct if it switches between tracks very fast (1 second or less).
