Spent all day Saturday washing my car in the back yard...when I was just about done I decided to pull it to the front but by then, the lawn was too soggy. The bimmer was stuck for over 24hrs! I had to dig it out with a shovel...put a brick down as support for the jack, lift it up, drop in some gravel and wood, drop it down (repeat on the other side under the other rear wheel) then i was finally able to drive it out...took about 4 hours once i got all the materials from Home Depot...

check out the video (sorry its sideways, my iphone didnt correct the aspect automatically):

i was more upset that it was dirty/muddy than stuck. i had just washed/waxed it. we had our fist (semi) warm day here in Detroit so i had to take advantage of it...shame i had to rewash it all over again the next day.

now the interior is all muddy...

That's one of those insane things you never really see coming. What will your solution be for next time? I wonder if half-inch particle board would support it....

I never wash any car on grass, just take it to a manual car wash and be done with it
