Sometimes while I'm driving my car starts beeping. It's three short tones followed by one long tone. I don't see anything appear on the I drive display or on the dash when it happens. I don't recall reading anything about it in the manual but it is possible that I overlooked something. Does anyone know what this may be?

That sounds like it. I forgot that I enabled it last week. You'll have to excuse me since I've only had the car for about 2 weeks now. Thanks!!

Well, these things can be troubling. I couldn't figure out why, when I inserted my key in the ignition, the chimes only sounded once in maybe 10 times. I worried about this for about 4 weeks, just assuming something was wrong...until I realized that it only happend while my door was still open...duh.

Live and learn; just don't be skeered of it.

I was just thinking that the Hourly Memo should have a better sound. It currently sounds like I'm a flatlining patient in a hospital. That is why I thought I had a problem. It should have a nice pleasant sound like the open door chime

Ray,

Off topic, but your avatar made me laugh. Bumwa is what my 6 year old daughter calls my new E60. I was thinking of doing a similar license plate. lol
