My car did something strange today

My Ride: 05' 545i Sport Sapphire Black

So I am driving down the raod at a constant 50ish mph. The car starts jerking like its trying to downshift, then it stops. Two min later it starts doing it again. Any ideas what this is?

So its $3400 plus labor for a valve body and a few sensors in the transmission??!
