k Wang, we're neighbor. I'm in Livingston too. Let me know if you need help with the V1 install, I just did it 2 months ago. Enjoy the 545 tomorrow.
I did the hardwire V1 on the leased 2006 330i and hopefully it will be the same. From my experience on the 330, the most difficult part is to take the cover off and have ground wire connected to the large bolt. Maybe we can meet for coffee sometime.

I let my BMWCCA membership lapse about a year ago so if I don't wait until after March 12, to pick it up, I lose $1000 rebate. Oh well. I already made an appointment to have my V1 hot wired, my dustless brake pads installed and my ACS spoiler installed next Friday. Hopefully the week will pass quickly.

You cannot wait a week for $1000? WOW!

Well thats nice to know, as I have looked at CARKING's listings many times, but just never knew if they were as good as they looked.

my dustless brake pads
What kind of dustless brake pads do you use ? Are they really dustless, or just a bit better than OEM ones?
What are the pices?

Sorry for the questions but I`m SICK and tired of cleaning brake dust (which turns into brake mud in winter) from my winter rims.....
Thanks a lot and have a dust-free day

Axxis Deluxe, they produce almost no dust and perform identical to factory pads.
