Try Irvine. I've been there and I like them now.

They will interrogate you like the gestapo about your 'driving profile.
Excuse me, but where do people go for service? I told my dealer that my car was taking longer to start in the morning, they tested the battery and said it was fine, but they replaced it as goodwill, anyway. Maybe people should vote with their dollars and patronize other dealers to straighten out the bad ones.

I had mine replaced last week. Originally the SA told me they could not replace because it tested fine and I was angry. I spoke to the head mechanic and he quickly said it needed a battery replacement when the symptoms were explained directly to him.

My car Battery is starting to go, when car stands over night it takes a while for it to turn on and even sometimes my car data gets erased saying the battery was disconnected... My car is still under warranty amd had a prob with my car b4 and the dealer said it might be the battery and if it is they would change it, but they didnt ... Soim wondering if i call them if they would change it and if not should i change it myself and how much is a new battery?

I have an 06' 530i that is under CPO warranty. Its got 40k miles on it. The battery is starting to go. DO you think there are any chances it will be covered under the warranty.
Also any recomendations on good BMW service centers. I live in Yorba Linda and work in Rancho Cucamonga. I have tried Savage BMW and hated their service.
I bought a 06 550i CPO a year ago and I just replaced a new battery from bmw dealer. It cost me $430 ($250 for battery, $170 for labor).
The old battery died and could not hold the charge. It was 4yrs old. The CPO won't cover the battery

And if you need services for your BMW, I recommend you take your car to the Shelly BMW in Buena Park . The customer services there is better than the Irvine BMW dealer, even though they have same owner.

Thanks for the info, I will check them out.
I decided to replace the battery myself, I know its suppose to be "registered" by the dealer.
There is DIY thread for battery replacement here and several people had changed the battery themselves without problems.
I went to Batteries Plus in Brea and got a Rayovac that was identical to the OEM battery, the only difference is the color. It even has the vent in the same place for Hydrogen release. The battery was $190 and I changed it in about 30-45 min.

I have not had any error messages, I can't believe how bright the headlights and dash is now.

My battery has been going low and I keep getting the message that "battery disconnected".Also, other weird stuff like' Speed limit exceeded".
Took it to the dealer and was told "you don't drive the right way and you don't drive enough!
Was sold a BMW float charger and was told to plug the vehicle in every night!
HOW INSULTING CAN THEY BE??
I love driving the 5series my old Ford Taurus (a real beater) is more reliable.
Does every BMW dealership act this rude?

All advice appreciated by me as a first time owner

If you didn't purchase the vehicle from them, then more than likely yes.
