Glad it wasn't worse -- you know how people get when they're thinking Arby's, right?

Rudy, With those two red neon cowboy hats floating over the roof, I'm surprised I didn't see the Audi earlier. By the way, the driver was just working the pedals...Oven Mitt was steering.

D,

Kudos on the clean rig. I came out of an S6 (jet black) and this was the toughest time of the year to deal with "the curse of the black car," especially with the recent warm spell here in Minneapolis.

Who do you use for your body work in town?
C, Look the Mpls guys are coming out of the woodwork!

"I'M GUMBY DAMNIT!!!"

Thanks G, Black is definitely tough to keep clean here in the Twin Cities with all the slop, sand and salt. As far as the body shop question, Master Collision in Bloomington was recommended to me by one of the dealerships. I have never used them so I stopped by to check them out. They had 4 e60's in the shop at the time which is comforting. The employees I spoke to seemed like good guys but I myself have never used them. If everything goes right I never will!!

An Audi TT decided to make an impromptu left turn in front of me across a double yellow line and two lanes of on-coming traffic recently. Fortunately we both had cat like reflexes and came to a screeching halt but not before his front license plate screw button covers made cat like scratches in my left front. Luckily our cars barely made contact. There was no damage to the Audi at all and almost none to my car and everyone is ok. I have the front end covered with a clear bra and the scratches only seem to be into the plastic bra and not the paint itself. Hopefully I will require no paint and just have the bra removed and replaced.
The 19 year old kid and his friend who hit me were apparently very hungry and were trying to get into Arbys' parking lot. He was driving Mom and Dads car and he was super nervous. I felt bad for him. He was a reall ynice kid so I joked around with him that at least I got hit by another German car and that he should have eaten at Wendy's. Anyway, here are a couple pics from the Arbys' parking lot. One shot of the scratches and one shot of my car side by side with the TT featuring the perps. You can see from the strange 6/G-shaped marks how the front ends dove while braking.

We see that you blanked out your license plate but left his visable. We will research it and we think we know what you are asking us to do. We will not let you down, nuff said.

Well...it is a black beast of a car. What else would the Prince of Darkness drive? (And no, I don't mean Ozzy Osbourne.)
