My Ride: 535d Sport in Carbon Black / high gloss shadow line and beige leather / dark poplar with professional nav, bluetooth phone prep, CD changer, bi-xenon adaptive headlamps, servotronic steering, folding mirrors, heated comfort seats, TV, extended voice control and Logic 7 hifi.
Looking great - congratulations! It must feel great to have the car!
David, I thought briefly about Oxford Green II instead of Carbon Black, but couldn't quite picture it.... so went with CB too I can see a UK South East 53xD Carbon Black meet coming on!
Edit: Actually, that should obviously be a 5xxD meet - sorry!

I've got a fully loaded 535d sport on order in titanium silver. I'm switching over from a sapphire black 530d after seeing Flower Fred's 530d.
I would have considered Sapphire again had it been available on the sport but it's such a pain in the a$$ to look after that silver will be a welcome relief.
Carbon looks to be even worse to keep clean than sapphire. I personally do not like dark blues so it wasn't for me. I find it strange that BMW chose not to offer sapphire on the M sport models as it would have looked stunning IMHO with the M kit and high gloss shadowline.

I never looked closely at the other "blacks", as I was interested in dark blue. Not sure how it compares.

My Ride: Delivered 30/11/04: 535d Sport, Carbon Black, Black Dakota leather, Media Package, Hi-Fi, Rear M Spoiler, Headlamp Washer, Auto dim/folding mirrors, Grad tint screen, Aux input,
I was told that as well as the advanced air-con and auto as standard the 535d also comes with bigger brake discs than the 530d.
