My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
Such an attention whore Dude, just get a friggin' E92 335is... or a used '08-09 M5, if you "really gotta have a bigger car"... not like I wouldn't like to have an S85 in mine, but newer cars are better. Even the F10 is in many very tangible ways better than the E60 - and I don't even like the F10, khm, that much. Anyway, I just hope you regain consciousness before placing that winning bid on eBay for a salvaged S85 engine, or better yet, a totalled donor-car

So I realize I will never have the chance to have a new bmw that I love as much as my e60. The days of light weight are gone, high revving engines gone and styling that is aggressive and unique gone IMO.
I really love everything about my car and could see myself driving it for another 10 years easily-but when I start saving some money-10k or so, how cool would it be to drop an M S54 engine from the e46 M3 into my 530i. I cant think of any car I would rather have. I do not like the e46 m3 styling nearly as much and I do think it looks dated but the e60 still looks better and newer than anyting on the road and I love the size and comfort of my car--but the ONE thing that would make this a literal dream car would be to have that M3 I6 333hp 8300 RPM limited engine.
How hard to you think it would be to come across a low mileage engine or rebuild one would probably be the better bet--do you think I could get that swap done for 10-15k?

My Ride: 545I and a half dozen other rides
You only need to look at his past post. yeah at first it appears harmless, then after a while you will notice a pattern. this is what I notice...
For the most part his post are never positive.
He carelessly tromps upon others' egos, mostly because he's so busy trying to prove himself and build his own ego.
While most people would disagree and not post something nasty, he has to categorize you and/or tell you that you are idiot for for posting what you did.
And just like all of his threads he only post once or twice in the thread to piss off people, then sits back to enjoy the fireworks. Once in a while he post more than twice to really get under you skin and prove he thinks he knows more
Yeah we all have issues, but his just keeps coming back, post after post.
