My 05 545 did not come with satellite can I add it?

Not really, an '05 545 has the sat prep already, so he just needs the sirius modual installed and the iDrive set up for it. Now if he wants XM, yes, hockey puck...

I don't think all '05 545s "come" with it.

Well that was the case when I ordered my '04 back in Dec '03, but at some point, and I thought that was on '05s, that Sat Prep simply started coming standard. Either wat he should check with his dealer who can tell him based on his VIN.
Check that, JStraw is right. Did a search and the Sat Prep is now included as standard startingin 2006 on the 550. But still call the dealer or check your window sticker if you still have it, one of them will be able to tell if you have the sat prep.

Most likely, post March 05 production date cars have the sat prep included. Don't know this for sure though.
