My car is AW and I have shadowline and matte black grills.

I'm thinking wheter to get the MTEC Hamann style diffuser in carbon fiber, or DIY wrap it with carbon fiber fabric.

What do you think

DIY it in CF Vinyl wrap, real CF costs way more than it's worth and if damaged will be expensive to replace

That's what I'm thinking, but the fabric I have is for interior, shouldn't make that much of a difference?

In the vendor classifieds section PYSpeed is selling the 3M DiNoc exterior wrap and its only like $40 shipped. I would go with that instead.

Do no use the fabric on the outside. It will not last under constant abuse and weather wear, plus it will be near your exhaust pipes too. I HIGHLY advise to use the exterior wrap that Takman suggested. Plus, the vinyl wrap is removable.

It's a front lip.

I'll probably order the exterior fabric.

When you say exterior fabric I hope you mean exterior vinyl.

Either way post some pictures of the final result.

P.S. FYI diffusers on our cars are located at the rear, hence my comment on the durability being near your exhaust pipes.
