Please can someone help.

MP3's play just fine in both the CD and DVD slots.

However, even if I include data in the Author and Title properties of the file, only some of the MP3 files show the file details.

Please could someone confirm which file properties are displayed if detail is switched on and if I need to use any special techniques when burning the CDs

Many thanks

The system probably only supports certain types of ID3 tags. There have been different versions of ID3. "ID3" refers to the mechanism by which MP3 files hold the additional metadata (e.g., song name, album, artist, genre, etc.).

You'll probably want to download an ID3 editor and experiment with using different versions of ID3 on the same file. For more information, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ID3

This is just a guess, but it's worth a shot. Either that, or you're going to have to examine what's different about the tags between the ones that work and the ones that don't. Perhaps if certain fields are populated the system will reject it...
