just took the car yesterday! gorgeous!!

and, by the way, my car couldnt read the mp3 files though. i've tried it yesterday.
but i wanna try it again today with mp3 files without folder management. Yesterday the cd I tried contains mp3 files which are organized into the folder.maybe the player cant read into the folder..who knows.hhehe..but, i feel pesimistic about this, since the manual doesnt say anything about mp3.

so.i dont know if the guy on the other topic said if his car could play mp3..hmm. I'd like to see it.

The CD player should play MP3's however, it does not. Your dealer should have received this message from Munich. Moreover, in the owner?s manual in the entertainment section it explains how the MP3 function should work.

The problem for state side BMW owners is, all information must first go through BMWUSA and than to the dealers. Therefore, the chain is Munich, BMWUSA, The dealer and finally you.

The person or persons who reported that MP3's worked warned not to use folder management. Please take the time to try again with just the MP3's and no folders and let us no. Thanks!

There are four players. Please try them all without the folder structure when burning MP3 CD.

In dash CD
Glove compartment DVD library (Logic 7)
In dash CD/DVD Navigation

Or optional trunck DVD library
