Thumbs up

I'm happy to join the ranks of the proud and happy owners of the new 5 series. no regrets whatsoever!

My query goes out to anyone out there who can help - I've got the Business Navigation unit, and according to the brochure, it comes with he 'professional' radio system, which is supposed to support MP3

I can't for the life of me figure out why i can't get any MP3 discs to work. The problem either lies with the way i'm burning the discs or BMW lied about MP3 compatibility.

Can anyone help/advice?

The mp3 compatibility is supposed to be provided with an upcoming software update.

Regarding updtaes - how will I know when updates are released ?
Will my dealer inform me or will I have to pester them from time to time or will it be done automatically at the next servicing?

Guess most dealers wouldn't inform you automatically unless there's any official recall - in which they wouldn't arrange for a minor software update.
