I just moved my E60 with CCC to Europe. I got a 2011 Nav DVD for Europe and it is not recognized as a map DVD--what am I missing? Do I need to code the system to tell it we are in Germany and not the US?


I have the same problem with my wife's XC90. I feel like I have stuck out twice on this one......ugh

 

Where Are you in Europe. Locally where i am, one seen a few local European service shops doing this for us spec cars? I'm in Germany, not sure if you're in an area that offers that service

 

the only thing I can think of in the coding is the dvd drive has a region lock on it, though I don't see why the maps dvd would have a region code on it. Download the maps (gpsunderground . com ) and burn yourself. You want professional maps, and burn onto a dvd -(MINUS) r at the slowest speed possible
