Based on the incredibly successful build out of the E39, the launch date for
the E60 has been moved up from October to September 26.? As far as
demonstrator units, they should arrive at your center before that date,
around the end of August or beginning of September.? The first month to
specify vehicles will likely be September production.? The current timing
for production is as follows:

530i - SOP July
525i - SOP September
545i - SOP September
AWD - SOP March 2005
M5 - SOP September 2005

Keep in mind that these dates are all preliminary, and subject to change.
?
Several centers have inquired about the availability of AWD in the E60
wagons.? Unfortunately, there are currently NO plans for an AWD version.
The 525i Touring and 545i Touring will be available with SOP circa March
2004...but will there will not be an "xi" AWD Touring model.? However,
please keep in mind that AWD "xi" sedans are currently slated for SOP in
March of 2005.

As far as availability of the E60, allocation will be based on your turn
rates for the last 12 months and your SPG.? The more E39 5 Series that you
move, the better you will set yourself up for the E60 allocation.

Other Points to remember include:

Ordering guides are due to your centers this month
Pricing will be announced in July
US Press event date will be in September
Product brochures will be shipped in September
