Default Mods for 528? (don't snicker)

I realize that by opting for the 528, my options for mods are far more limited. But, I was wondering if there might me a list of sorts, you know "when you buy a 528, you really have to.....". Selling it for a 535, 545 or 550 is not an option. I'm not optimistic, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

The 328 guys seem to go with Burger Tuning Power Box or Active Autowerke tune. You should check out a 3 series forum for some more ideas.

Only options are pretty basic engine mods like:
1) Tune
2) Intake
3) Exhaust

Depending on which brands and exact parts you buy I would expect 10-15 hp from all of those mods. Engine mods for a 528 aren't going to do much, so IMHO your best bet is to stick with cosmetics. The cost per horsepower you're going to gain for modding a 528 just isn't worth it.

I DID go over to a 3 series site, and some of those guys are spending crazy money for what kinda, maybe, FEELS like an improvement, maybe. Also, my mechanic says don't do a cold air intake. It may mess with things, also the sound may be a bit different, but there will be minimal, effect except the one on the wallet. So, I will take your advice and leave things as they are. If I was that power hungry, shoulda bought the 535. OK, cosmetics........thinking about black wheels and a black grill. Question is: flat or gloss, and should I buy new, or just have the stock wheels repainted, the latter, of course, being more cost effective. I would love to do 19's, but I just bought new tires so, 18's it is.
Thanks, guys.
