My Ride: 2008 535i - Deep Sea Blue Metallic, Black Nasca Leather w/ Ventilated Seats, Anthracite Headliner, Sport Pkg, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Sport Auto Transmission w/ Shift Paddles, PDC, Rear Side Airbag, Automatic Sunshades, Heads Up Display, Sat, HD Radio, Navigation, Logic 7
In March, the e60's will be switched over to model year 2010 and the new iDrive will be showing up in them. I confirmed this with my dealership.
The question I have is back in December sombody heard that they are going to start offering the 550 sport package (ZMP) as an option to the 528 and 535. I also heard that M colors like interlagos blue as well as carbon black would be available. The 550 sport package was available on the configurator for a brief time after that discovery but it is no longer on the BMW website.
Does anybody know what the real deal is?
Thanks.

The March 09 builds of the 5 series will be MY 2010. The ZSP Sport package is available on all models, except for the 550. A separate ZMP M sport Package is also available for all models, including the 550. See attached Ordering Guidelines for 2010 5 and 6 Series. This should also answer your questions about available colors.
