Mobilize the E60 community for good cup holders!!!
So everyone knows how TERRIBLE our E60 cup holders are. Perhaps we can petition ultimatecupholders.com to fabricate one for the E60. The E46 and E49 folks swear by them and say they are the best. However, they don't make them for the E60.
Perhaps this is an opportunity for good ol' capitalism and market forces to solve our problem.
If everyone who hates our E60 cup holders were to reply to this thread (so I can show it to them) AND send an email to mike@ultimatecupholders.com, perhaps they will understand how many customers in waiting there are out here.

If you haven't already, search the threads for "cup holders" or "ultimate cupholders" to see all the good things others have said.

C'mon folks...lets Mobilize!!

I have an '08 550 and I don't think the holders are that bad, they seem to work fine for me. They are certainly not bad enough for me to pay $25.00 each for new ones.

...and they're a 1000% improvement over the ones on the E39.

I never had a problem with them either. They're certainly better than the ones in my E30...

OMG this is so true, E39 cup holders were total pieces of crap.
E60's cup holders work great if you don't break them with your legs.

My cup holder on the passenger side often won't open the first time I press the button, have to hit it a couple times. And the holders themselves do not fit many standard drinks. Very frustrating.

There's your problem, you should be using champagne flutes not champagne glasses
