Default MMI box mounting location?

Currently installing an MMI box from BimmerTech and I can’t for the life of me figure out where the box fits behind the CIC head unit in the dash.

Anyone know where to put it to fit?

I put mine above the glovebox. If I recall correctly, I was able to remove the air vent by the passenger window and put my hand in to mount the WiFi antenna. I put double sided tape on the MMI unit and shoved it over the glove box I think.

I did the same, it's very convenient and accessible. But I just opened the glovebox and removed the back panel, it has two knobs to hold it in place to allow access to the fuses.
