I recently noticed that my rear view mirror appears to have bubbles?? underneath the glass. Has anyone heard of this before? I found a post for e39 mirrors leaking fluid and staining the dash. Is this what is happening now? I'm at work right now and will upload pics in about 3 hours. Any help would be very helpful.

That snow flake design is a nice touch

On a serious note, I haven't seen anything like that.

If it's under warranty, let the dealer figure it out! Let us know what they say!

It's not, thats why I posted here hoping somebody had seen this before. It also appears to be slowly spreading over the course of the past few weeks. Could it have something to do with it being an electrochromatic mirror

Yea it still dims but that part doesn't reflect like the rest of the mirror.
