My baby is nearly 2 years old and covered nearly 35000 miles. Engine is not as quiet as before anymore, everytime when I do a kick down, it sounds like a 4 cylinder engine

19,000 Miles on my 2004 545ia from Aug '04 / May '05 ( 9 months ) before BMW buy-back.
16,000 Miles on my 2005 545ia from May '05 / Feb '06 ( 9 months ) and it runs beautifully,no problems.
The only reason miles are this low is that I have alternated my commuting and travel days with the above 545s, and my 1997 528i that now has 307,000 miles, to keep the milage down on the above cars.
Average close to driving 40,000 miles/year.

10,750 miles in 6.5 months. A few rough edges (replaced Idrive computer, 4 new run flats, replaced creaking door seals), but an absolute thrill to drive.
Scheduled for my first oil change this wednesday. Car has seemed a tad sluggish, so it will be interesting to see if that impacts performance.
