Which is best ? I plan to buy one of these. As a computer nerd, downloading data is important. That is why the expensive models are listed.
G-Tech Pro from Tesla electronics
Vector FX-2 from Beltronics
AP22 from Racing Dynamics
MR Dyno from Midnight Research
Did I miss any?
I have no experience with any.
It's mostly a toy, but it is an educational one.
Certainly one is easier to use.

I think that he's talking about something like this from Escort Radar.
It lets you do time tests etc., from inside your car.

I have a G-Tech pro that I'm happy with, especially for the $49 I paid on Ebay.
I've only used it one car and it seemed pretty accurate.
For the money, it's a nice little toy to compare how your car performs.

And now I have to add the G-timer pro from Escort. Thanks for the find.
G-tech Pro for $49 sounds interesting. Thanks for the pointer. It is the pro?
I plan to put numbers to my driving, compare cars, see how tires or weather influences performance; later, a cool intake or exhaust mod may show measurable improvements.
