When i brake from the front axel, maybe from wheels, comes a metallic noise like "stok!". This append only when parking an example:i go forward and when brake there is the noise, but if i restar forward when i re-brake there is no noise, but if i go in retro and brake i can hear it, but if i continue with retro and brake there is silence. This sound there is only on time in forward and only one time in backward. I got 24k and idrive tells that the pads must be replaced next 1k. Thecnical BMW tell me that is the pad when is old can be shake..this can be true? Any suggestion is apprecied thanks

I have it too. So annoying. I've heard that it could be the wear sensor.

I have about 1500k left on my pads (so Idrive tells me) but looking at them physically they look very low. I am replacing all the rotors and pads this weekend hopefully I do not mess anything up!

I used to have that exact noise you describe under those same conditions, but I noticed as I put more miles on the car i hear it much less frequently now.
47000km on car now, brake pads never changed, 9000km left to brake pad change.
