Is Merino leather as durable as the other leathers?
I am thinking of buying a car with Merino leather. It's in pretty good shape, but on the only other car I've seen with this leather, it was worn much more than I'd expect given the miles. So I'm wondering if perhaps it wears more quickly than the other BMW leathers.
Anyone have any insight into this?
Thanks!

I can't imagine Merino (sheep) being as durable as cow hide.
It's used for comfort and warmth mainly - when they leave the fur on.
Probably why they make saddles out of dead cow and ugg boots out of dead sheep.
