Seems to me the chipped diesels getting the best results here..

With chip tuning you allways get better results, and with Diesels too. Having a chipped Diesel, you get the absolute best result...
Well, if you are driving it correctly...

But is the chip good for the engine? My dad had a Volvo V70 2.4T (200 hk) before he got the E60, and we got it chiptuned, and got better results. But we took the chip away from the car after 3 weeks, because the engine didn't like it at all.
Maybe we should get our 530dA chipped.. I'm just worried if the gearbox can handle the huge torque <_<
But the originally 500 NM is actually enough for us

I know the diesel owners can really brag here, but it would be nice to get a comparison of the different models (petrol & diesel).
Not talking about ave mpg or l/100km but actual distance travelled on a single tank.
I just did 683km's on a long distance trip at an average 127km/hr. (had 10km range in the tank so filled up again).
