Default This makes me worried a bit ?(

Dear Friends,

Recently, I have noticed two weird things happening to my car. Currently I own a 2008 550i With all packages there are.

1) Every time I turn the wheel to the left or right completely ( I.e Reverse) I hear a squicky noise, I can barely understand what it is, my feelings it could be the alignment.
2) Driving over a bump, or any road hole deep enough the suspension makes a noise like I hit a rock on low speeds. Does that mean I have to change the whole suspension?

The car is 60k km with warranty. Any clues? I really appreciate your effort.

I think you have bad sway bar link(s). Cheap and very easy to DIY.

Check the power steering fluid, if it is a bit low it will cavitate on corners and the bubbles will cause your pump to stutter. It can make some interesting noises and steering issues.

For your second problem, try retightening the strut support bars under your hood. These bars run from your strut towers to the firewall. They use like a #24 torx bit. 4 bolts total. Common prob on these cars...

60km? Sounds exactly like your font end bushings are going or perhaps a ball-joint on them. I've seen it too many times to say this is about 90% of what the problem is.

Guys Sorry for the late reply. I was busy with my work didnt even have time to check what is wrong. I guess next week I will go to the dealership. I can do any work by myself ( not a pro like you guys). I will update you as soon as I can. Thank all of you for the great replys.

Just change your sway bar stabilizer links and check your bushings for your thrust arms, they're probably shot. no need to go to a dealer to pay a diagnosis fee when your eyes can do the same thing. I mean you are talking about fixing things yourself so you should be able to determine what is bad and what is not. Most likely an easy fix. These parts are cheap nowadays

I didn't see the mentioning of a warranty. So I recant that.
