Can you add 'No' as an option, or you're not interested?

First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
Yes, electronic--multiple sensors or failing major component presumably. Since delivery, I've gotten random "Electronic Failure! Unsafe to drive, pull the car to a safe stop and get to BMW Service immediately" messages, almost daily. When this happens, all gauges zero out, and then pop back to life; the chimes all sound and the iDrive screen will flicker and die. It may repeat up to 6-8 times over the course of a minute or two. I never lose drive power or even radio; just speed/tach, and all the central gauges. Also, all the center binacle icons light up. It's quite a show; terrified me the first time, on I-95 at 80 mph in the dark.
The dealer reprogrammed it and it stopped for a couple of weeks, but is back. Next week they will take another stab at it, as it has been unrepeatable for them.
While I no longer think this is as dire as the warning would have you believe, (the 20.02 reprogram toned the "Failure" language down to "Warning") I consider these startling outbursts and alarms sounding to be a significant fault. If eventually it brings the car to a halt, I'll then consider it MAJOR problem, and presume that whatever it is can then be diagnosed.
And only one here has experienced this particular degree of failure, according to responses to a post a month or so ago. If you have info, I'd appreciate hearing it.
Cheers,
Ray Hull
