I had the exact same thing happent to me. It happend less than a mile from the dealer, so went there so they could take a look. The service manager and tech stood there scratching their heads. They said when the car goes to sleep in 16 minutes it will shut everything off (battery drain fail safe). It did shut off, and has not happend again.

I had a similar problem that required dealer intervention in form of disconnecting power from the battery and then allowing the computers to re-start etc. According to the shop forman at my dealership, this is a known software problem and a "fix" is in the works, but still not available. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the help guys. Good to know I am not the only one with the problem. I guess I am going to have to just deal with the problem until the fix is out. I will let you know when that comes.
