I have a 2007 525i with almost 96k on it. I am starting to look into replacing some parts. What should I be looking to replace? Alternator? belts? Plugs? Water pump? I was trying to look for a good maintenance log, but couldn't find a good one. Car has been good to me so far, but I don't want to push it. Thanks for the future advice.

Even though I had my water pump changed at 54k, I wouldn't necessarily change it before it failed. Same thing goes for the alternator. The owner's manual provides a decent outline, so does your idrive menu (except for the 15000mile oil change interval).

At 96k I'd look into the following:
-Transmission fluid, pan/filter/gasket (check the DIY section)
-Spark plugs
-Microfilter (cabin)
-Coolant (easy bleeding process thanks to the electronic water pump)
-Brake fluid
-Battery (every 2 years)
-Air filter
-Clean your mass air flow sensor (not 100% necessary)
-Clean solenoids (same as above)
-BMW says to change your O2 sensors at 120,000 miles

I would definitely inspect the car from top to bottom. Check for leaks, hoses cracking, suspension control arms/bushings/ball joints.

As long as you have taken care of your car, she'll take care of you. I've completed all of the above including the starter, valve cover gasket, and breather hose. 134,000 on the clock now (06 530i) knock on wood
