Anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy a good magnetic drain plug for the engine oil? This is for the 3.0TT N54 engine.
Some websites list the bolt as 14 x 1.5 and some list it as 12 x 1.5. Can anyone verify which one is the correct size?
Thanks!

Yes, I purchased one of these from ECS Tuning and was really curious about it. I have had it for 6 months and I took it out last weekend to change oil to German Castrol just to make sure all was in tact and everything was cool. I love it.

ECS website has it listed as a 14 x 1.5 bolt with 10 crush washers. So you definitely received the correct part for your N54, correct?

I got mine from here:

Make sure you get the Neodymium magnetic plugs.

See here's the issue: The ECS plug is 14 x 1.5mm and the one Salaki has is listed as 12 x 1.5mm on the website. Something is wrong here, as it is impossible for both those sizes to work.
