My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

That was what I was reading. Not too excited about paying this difference just for customer service because it was quite a bit difference in the overall cost... Actually, I kind of expect it especially if there is something wrong that needs addressing.

My Ride: 2006 530i premium and sport package. all stock for now... :/

so if i am reading this right, then the replica is the way to go because fitment issues? or is oem the way to go....... im confused because i would also like to do this mod but... i unsure of what to get, price wise and fitment wise, dont want my stuff catching a blast of air on the 5 and i end up by running it over..

If you want 0 fitment issues, go with OEM Mtech
M5Tech replica will fit fine unless you would want an aftermarket splitter or lip to go with it.

OEM M5 bumper will also work, but you have to get OEM M5 front fenders for it to fit right without mods.
