Was on my way intot the hospital today and a fellow BMWer told me that someone ordered an M5 here in Akron and the backed out and the dealer has an M5 on the showroom floor. Think they will buy the fact that I am considereing getting rid of my 2 day old car to get and M5 and let me take it home for the weekend and see how it drives in the snow?

I think the M5 with the power and the huge meats in the back is going to suck for traction. If you plan on driving through the winter and snow storms, I think you 530xi is a much better choice. Definately much more practicle.

Ok, here is my new plan. rive this car for a couple a years, clean out the garage, and get an M5 for the Summer and keep the xi for the winter.
Guess I'll have to pass on this one.
