maybe hes not up to anything.. maybe hes just thinking out loud.
. could you imagine if we ALL did that! we would ALL think we were ALL crazy..lol... and CLEARLY WERE NOT! LOL..
If the car doesn't have ALL the M parts (engine, differential, suspension, interior, etc.), it's still not an M car. Even if someone was crazy enough to spend money on a total M-parts swap, it's still not an M car. But on a technical note, when the car's serial number is run through DMV, "M5" won't pop up on the screen. So in essence, if it wasn't born an M, it's not an M.

Just by an M5!
Just a thought. I noticed we all don't like M5 badging on a non M5. On another note, I remember a member in here put a E46 M3 motor in a E60. So I was just wondering.
Yea I wouldn't do it. With all the money and time wasted on a project like this, I would just pickup a M5

Nothing. Just a thought. But I'm stopping all mods and plan on getting an M5 or F10 M5 in a year or two.
Here's the question though...which of you is going to drive it? You guys are going to fight over it every day as to who gets to drive it. Hahahahahahaha! Senior Members
